In celebration of a golden age for Cask Ale the Mill House will be holding a Great British Medal Winners Beer Festival.
It’s also coinciding with Cask Ale Week, so what better time to enjoy a drop of the national tipple?!
We will have a selection of Great British Beer Festival Medal winning beers from the last 20 years, including some of our local favourites.
Proceedings kick off from 6pm on Thursday 1st October when Timothy Taylors and Cottage Brewery are joining us for a guided tasting in the bar.
We will also be circulating with a few complimentary nibbles from the kitchen to soak up that goodness. It promises to be a fun and informative evening!
The festivities will continue on Friday 2nd October as we tilt the barrels once again from 5pm. No Strings Attached from 8 – 10.30pm. A cracking band who will keep you dancing.
On Saturday 3rd October from 4pm we celebrate with 2 perfect bedfellows of real ale – Morris dancing and Rugby.
Morris dancing from 4pm – 6pm with Basing Clog Morris.
World cup Rugby from 8pm - England vs Australia.
Tickets are not required for any of the evenings – just come along, bring your own glass if you’d like, buy some beers and enjoy the fun, but if you’d like a table in the restaurant please do book as we are expecting to be busy. We hope the weather will be fine, but if not, don't worry - we have plenty of space to host inside.
